Operations & Project Manager
(Norwest Sydney Office)

The Role

This is a really special role, taking over the reigns from one of our founders, so we are looking for somebody who is extremely committed and dedicated to helping grow and improve the business.

 

Working as part of a small team, you will be managing our business operations and residential building projects for the Newcastle, Greater Hunter, Central Coast & Sydney regions.

 

Flexible work hours (25-35 hours per week) and a work from home opportunity down the track. Extensive experience in either Planning, Development Compliance or Building Certification is a must. We are also looking for somebody with a high level of attention to detail, experience in a similar role and excellent overall computer skills. Role to commence 2021.

Key responsibilities

  • Project Management
     

  • Managing the daily operations of the business
     

  • Recruitment of new staff
     

  • Managing a small team
     

  • Making improvements to processes and workflows
     

  • Ad hoc 

 

Training will be provided.

You will need to have

  • Previous experience working in either Residential Building Certification, Planning or Development Compliance
     

  • Previous experience in business management
     

  • Previous experience or qualifications in Human Resources
     

  • Advanced Administration skills
     

  • Advanced level of computer literacy 
     

  • Intermediate Project Management skills
     

  • Excellent communication skills
     

  • High level of attention to detail

 

Remuneration

 

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience 
     

 

Days and hours worked

 

  • Monday to Friday, hours negotiable

 

We operate Monday to Friday and close down on public holidays and for 3 weeks over Christmas.
