Project Officer (Norwest Office)

The Role

Working as part of a small team, you will be in charge of the work flow for our residential building projects in the Newcastle, Greater Hunter, Central Coast & Sydney regions.

Flexible Part Time employment minimum 20 hours per week with the option of full time later down the track. 

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with collating required documentation for their application
     

  • Keeping all projects organised and up to date
     

  • Checking documentation received to ensure all correct
     

  • Ensuring each project is progressing through the required stages in a timely manner
     

  • Chasing up outstanding requests for information
     

  • Ensuring all projects are reaching final occupation stage
     

  • Ad hoc tasks (assisting Directors)

Full training will be provided.

You will need to have

  • Previous experience working in either Residential Building Certification or Planning
     

  • Intermediate Administration skills
     

  • Intermediate level of computer literacy 
     

  • Excellent communication skills
     

  • High level of attention to detail

 

Remuneration

 

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience 
     

 

Days and hours worked

 

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday, hours negotiable
     

  • Work from home once training has been completed

 

We operate Monday to Friday and close down on public holidays and for 3 weeks over Christmas.

A4 Accredited Certifier (Newcastle & Surrounds)

The Role

Working as part of a small team, your main responsibility will be undertaking critical stage inspections on residential building projects in the Newcastle, Greater Hunter and Central Coast regions.

Flexible Part Time employment with a guaranteed minimum 10 inspections per week (most weeks will be 15 or more) spread over 2-3 days, with the option for additional inspections & days when required. A great opportunity for somebody who requires flexibility during the week.

Key responsibilities

  • Carrying out critical stage inspections
     

  • Completing and sending inspection reports

Full training will be provided.

Additional option for career progression for the right person, with the opportunity to 'be your own boss' and take charge of the Newcastle/Hunter areas. Alternatively, the option is there to continue on a flexible part time basis long term.   • Minimum A4 Accreditation, or be close to obtaining it
     

  • Your own vehicle
     

  • Basic level of computer literacy
     

  • Excellent communication skills
     

  • Previous experience in the construction industry

 

Remuneration

 

  • Fixed rate per inspection undertaken (negotiable depending on experience)
     

  • Car allowance
     

  • 9.5% Superannuation 
     

  • Annual leave & personal leave included
     

 

Days and hours worked

 

  • Flexible and negotiated prior to commencement
     

  • Work from home & on the road once training has been completed
